I have restored vintage soda machines for musicians, TV personalities, pro sports figures, the movie studios here in Los Angeles, and for the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff under George W. Bush. When I do a restoration, the entire body is taken apart, and every nut and bolt comes out. I only do first-class restorations. Prices range from $5900 to $7900.
If your Refrigeration System has stopped cooling, I can fix it. When a machine doesn't cool, it's not for a lack of freon, the system was designed as a closed system. There is a leak somewhere and will always have a leak. Adding Freon will not fix the problem. With my repair, you will get a new compressor if needed, fan motors, thermostat, wiring, and a new power cord for $1000 and up. Not many people in the USA work on these old units.
The turnaround time for a complete restoration is approximately 9-11 months. On a Refrigeration System fix, 6-8 weeks. If you want to ship your machine to me for restoration, I can give you the name of a trucking company I’ve used for more than 10 years.
